Coming back after a long break? Start with your existing Guild Wars account. ArenaNet says Reforged retains existing character progress and inventory.
Check campaign access first
Reforged includes Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall. Eye of the North and the Bonus Mission Pack are separate purchases. Existing players retain access to content they already own.
Make your next session manageable
- Check your character list and inventory before creating a replacement character.
- Choose one goal: a campaign, a title track or a specific equipment project.
- Check whether the character is in Pre-Searing or Post-Searing before choosing supplies.
- Make a list of what you already own and what the goal actually requires.
Reforged adds controller support, larger text options and other interface improvements. Check the game’s settings if the old interface feels unfamiliar on a modern display.
